How AppThentic is priced on cloud and self-hosted, what usage pays for, what the self-hosted license covers, and how a company starts.
Start free on up to two codebases. When your team needs it every week, Teams is one price per member. When you want it across the whole organization, Enterprise is agreed with you. See Pricing for the plans.

Teams adds unlimited business context: Confluence pages, PDFs, meeting transcripts and any document about how your business runs. Prices are in US dollars, before taxes.
Self-hosted plans
Teams and Enterprise can run in your infrastructure. Free runs on AppThentic cloud only. Self-hosted plans are priced with you, so talk to us.

Usage
Usage pays for the work om does: putting your codebases under memory, keeping them current, and asking owners about rules. Your whole company shares one pool, and you can add more at any time.
When usage runs out
Your admins are alerted at 80% and again at 100% of your usage. Nothing more is charged unless an admin adds more.
When usage runs out, om keeps answering your team from what is already in Organization Memory, and your admins keep managing everything. New discovery, owner questions and memory updates pause until you add more.
The self-hosted license
When AppThentic runs in your infrastructure, the license is an agreement between your company and AppThentic, priced with you.
AppThentic commits to:
- Security patches for every supported version.
- Updates to AppThentic and om.
- Support when something goes wrong.
- Help reading diagnostics when something goes wrong.
Your company commits to:
- Run a supported version: the current one or the one before.
- Install and operate AppThentic as the install guide describes.
- Send the diagnostics bundle with any issue.
The license key turns on updates and support. It never opens a connection into your environment.
How a company starts
- Register your company on the Free plan.
- Connect your first two codebases and add up to five members.
- Move to Teams when more of your company needs it, monthly or yearly.
- Talk to us about Enterprise, or about running AppThentic in your infrastructure.
